Lizzie – “it’s as great as the other reviews say it is!” – I purchased the Weber Q100 a month ago after carefully reading the other reviews & have not been disappointed. Despite being challenged in terms of putting stuff together, getting the Q100 ready to go was a snap. It ignites easily & is plenty big enough to grill steaks/burgers for at least 5 – i’ve done it! The only thing i would have done differently had i known how smitten i’d be with this grill is to have ordered the Q120 instead, as it comes with a number of perks that the Q100 does not have. But no matter, Weber makes it easy to accessorize – i’ve already ordered the side tables (which also pop on easily) and the light for the handle. I’m so impressed with the Q100 that i ordered the Q120 for my son for xmas – how lucky that he saw my 100 & thought it was SO cool – it sure made xmas shopping easy!

Tommy Dome – “Great Little Grill” – I have had a number of gas grills / Bar-B-Qs’ and this little Weber Q100 is just perfect for me in my current situation. I just moved down to Washington state from Alaska for the winter to be a bit closer to my kids and grand kids and moved into a small apartment with a small balcony. the grill fits perfectly on a metal rack out on the balcony, It is great for up to four, (of course depending on what you are cooking and the appetite of your guests)I did get the six foot extension for a 20lb propane bottle and dependent on your application would recommend that as well.

Kuritis A. – “Great Portable/Backyard Grill” – Great grill, well worth the money; a 5 in my book. Basically, it’s perfect for those who move apartments often (portable), travel or camp, as well as an everyday griller. Perfect for those with small decks/yards.
Pros:
Small/portable, but big enough to cook for multiple people
Cast iron grate with very small openings between grates; great for grilling vegetables that usually fall through the smaller metal grates (also retains heat better)
Cons:
Smaller grill surface than other $100 grills (but not super small, just not huge)
There is only one flame control so you can’t shut one side down for convection cooking.
I have it out back on my deck but I also take in car camping. I bought this in combination with the Coleman adapter/hose Coleman High-Pressure Propane Hose and Adapter so I can hook it up to the 20lb propane tanks.
Works like a charm, but CAUTION: If you plan on disconnecting the 20lb tank with the hose, you may receive some propane blow off. THIS IS OK! It is just the build up within the 5 foot hose.
HOW TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE:
Towards (or at) the end of cooking, close the propane nossel to off while keeping the grill turned on high. This will burn off all the leftover propane in the line. I usually turn it off within 3 minutes left of cooking as to not waste it; sometimes it’ll continue burning, slower and slower, for 5 minutes after.
